There are still plenty of people who create – thankfully – because without them passive entertainment could not exist. It is not for us to judge the level of contemporary entertainment, but the fact remains that since childhood there has been more passive than active entertainment in our lives. At best we sit in front of the TV or watch videos on youtube, at best we go to the theatre or cinema, but even less do we sing at home, play our own theatre with our children, draw pictures together, etc. In short, we become more consumers than creators.Orientation towards individual successIn our studies and work we are very oriented towardspersonal success. There is nothing wrong with being successful and achieving something in life. On the contrary. But it can be extremely stressful to try to be the best at all times and under all circumstances, and very hard to take failure. Having a sporting spirit would be a happy medium. Trying to be the best, but at the same time managing to be second or even last. And take that last place as a challenge. The best teams are not made up of those who want to excel individually at all costs, but those who want to excel as a whole, as a team. Are we“Jajists”?You may have noticed that Eastern cultures tend to be more open, more friendly in their attitude towards other people. In Western culture, we sometimes lack this element a little. It\\’s not that the sense of helping one\\’s fellow man has completely disappeared, but the spirit of personal responsibility (which is essential to life) is beginning to prevail and the spirit of co-responsibility (which is also necessary to some extent) is lagging behind. It is necessary to distinguish when one needs to lend a helping hand and when it is better to leave it to oneself. In fact, who among us can say that he has achieved success all by himself? Without the support of family, friends, co-workers?
